Reliable electrical infrastructure

Electrical substations designed, equipped and commissioned to remain available, safe and easy to operate throughout their service life.

Our scope

From the single-line diagram to energisation

We work on the entire substation: engineering, equipment supply, wiring, configuration, factory and site testing, then commissioning with the operator.

  • Digital control system (DCS)Architecture, bay units, substation computers, local HMI and link to the control centre.
  • ProtectionSelection, setting and testing of line, transformer, busbar and feeder protection.
  • 30 kV / 10 kV MV switchboardsIncomer, feeder, bus coupler, bus riser and metering cubicles.
  • Auxiliary servicesRectifier-chargers, batteries, DC and AC distribution boards.
  • Testing and commissioningIndividual and functional tests, test reports and support for the operator.
Typical architecture

Two incomers, two transformers, no outage

In a dual-supply substation, each transformer feeds its own half-busbar. The bus coupler and bus riser make it possible to transfer the whole load to a single transformer during maintenance or a fault, without interrupting the feeders.

Our projects comply with the applicable IEC standards, including IEC 62271 for high- and medium-voltage switchgear, IEC 60255 for protection relays and IEC 61850 for communication, as well as Sonelgaz technical specifications.
